Longarm Quilting Services

This section of our website is dedicated to quilters who are looking for longarm quilting services to finish their quilts. To learn more about creating a quilt from scratch, click on "Custom Quilts" in the menu.

Where are you located?

We are located in West Plains, Missouri. Local dropoff and pickup for longarm quilting services is available in West Plains, Willow Springs, Cabool, Mountain Grove, and Springfield, Missouri, and Mountain Home, Arkansas. We also accept quilts by mail.

What longarm quilting services do you offer? 

We offer edge-to-edge quilting services using our Gammill Statler Longarm Quilting Machine. With our computerized quilting system, we ensure the highest quality stitches for every quilt.

Where do I mail my quilt?

Mail your quilt to Harper Howard Quilts, 3920 CR 6300, West Plains, MO. 65775. Be sure to include your name, return address, phone number, email, and payment ($25 down payment required).

What is your turnaround time?

Our current turnaround time is 10 days from when your quilt arrives at our studio to when it ships back to you.

What is your pricing?

Our pricing is approximately 2.5 cents per square inch but includes batting and thread!

Baby/Crib: 30" x 40":  $50 (minimum)

Lap Quilt: 50" x 60":    $75

Throw: 50" x 65"          $80

Twin: 64" x 88"             $140

Full: 78" x 88"               $170

Queen: 84" x 92"          $195

King: 98" x 106"            $260

What is included in the price?

We keep things simple! Your purchase includes:

  • Quilting service with your selected edge-to-edge design

  • Thread

  • Batting (Hobbs 80/20)

  • Return shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 states

What do I provide?

You provide the quilt top and backing fabric. The backing fabric should be at least three inches larger than your quilt top on all sides. We do have white wide-back available with a neutral print for an additional fee. If you would like to provide a different batting, you are welcome to do so.

Does my quilt top need to be perfect?

Absolutely not! We love and welcome beginner quilters. If you have been afraid to take your quilt top to a longarmer in the past, be assured this is a judgment-free zone.  

Local Quilters

If you are a local quilter and would like to arrange for local pickup or drop-off to receive a discount, please email us at harperhowardquilts@gmail.com. The approximate cost for local quilts is 2 cents per square inch.
